I already know how to swap definitions and fidget stuff around. However, I was wondering if it's possible to use JOB fireball and rolling thunder just with a slash of a sword instead of charging fireballs or using bows. Does anyone have answers?

Hmm, How does JOB do it then? Is he using the same methods as the Dreadwing Summoner and using a range weapon that uses the same template and texture as the sword of Aeons and switching it back and forth? It still doesn't explain how he can shoot fireballs and rolling thunders with slashing animation though

Well, the minion's don't use two weapons. They're are two types
of Dreadwings. It seems unoticable, but when i was killing them,
one type shoots it like a fireball, the other shoots it out of their staff.
As far as Jack's fireball, some effects would have to be linked
to the weapon, so it wouldn't "shoot" a fireball or lightining,
but it would have the effects.
For the perfect spells, you'd need to hook/link up the current Hero spells to whatever you want, of course yuo said you didn't want to.
Jack's animations are his own. If you did link them up to the hero
it might take a while to see if it's possible, do it, and have the exact demonstration.
Btw, why is this in Utilities.

Well, I already did link it up to Hero spells and link the effects to the sword. But, Sword is only a face lift of the original augmentation effect. Doesn't do anything, although it looks cool. Spells, i linked the shot to the fire ball and it's working great, but i wish i could do that just with a slash of the sword.
Oh, and what are you talking about? this is in the definition editing

Hmm? it's just a basic definition editing.
You just replace hero's fireball in SHOT with Jack's rolling thunder, Jack Fireball and Dragon fire
And as for the effect editing, i just switched the flame augmentation effect with Sword of Aeons effect.

God damn John! I'm impressed. You really know your stuff. I wish you read my post earlier. I'll definitely look deeply into your idea. That's kinda what i've been trying to do. I've been trying to import the models and textures of melee weapons into range weapon definitions. So far, I just ended up crashing the game. Even if I do manage to get it to work, I would be just shooting stuff with the sword like a bow. Furthermore, I won't be able to swing the range weapon around like Jack does. I'll have to look into that "range weapon helper" utility
