I REALLY need someone to teach me or to point me towards a tutorial on how to make textures like the attached picture.
I really need to know how to do this because I have spent days making a sword but I cannot apply textures. Plz help me?!

You've made a mesh? The cool kids read up on UVW mapping. Your issue is not how to make a texture but how to set up UV coordinates, render a texture template, and then make a texture.

Um, What I posted up was a snapshot of a file (I used a snip program) So does that still count? Sorry for posting game files, I HAVE read over the rules, but the thought ever came to my mind. Embarassed Embarassed

It produced a 1:1 copy of the texture, so yea.

Your 3D modeling package will come with a set of UVW tools. Read your documentation.
