When JohnDoe told me about having to enable the Alpha on the mesh, I had this idea. With some slightly clever usage of Paint.net, I made it. Here are some instructions on how to make it Alpha enabled, re-explained in a form for those who don't know much about working with meshes on Fable Explorer:
Guide
Okay, so I guess you need this just like I did.
- Start up fable explorer.
- Go under the section; "Graphics"
- Go towards the bottom of the list.
- Scroll up until you start seeing the weapons (EX: MESH_KATANA_STEEL_01)
- Search for "MESH_AXE_GREAT_IRON_01"
- Click on it to open up a window.
- Go into the Materials tab (Next to "Submeshes" and "Preview")
- Go into Greataxe2h.
- Find the "Material Alpha Enabled" line, and set it from 0 to 1.
- To be on the safe side, do the same thing to the "Material #115" one.
P.S: Thanks to OogaBoogaBooga for the tips on the overlays, made the blood look way more realistic.
Have a weapon that looks too dull? PM me! I'll make it more......Suitable, in no time! Just tell me what colors you want and the name of the weapon or armor, and I'll do my best.
