Okay... This is something that has really been bugging me lately. I made a couple armor templates for blender and they work great. The only problem is that I don't know how to skinweight. I have been using modelinjector to skinweight it for me but it is skinweights for other armor, so it doesn't exactly work 100%. How can I skinweight in blender or in any other program? I made halo armor but it doesn't work because I can't skinweight!

Actually I'm not sure if skinweighting is the problem... But I'm pretty sure

I'll try to make a tutorial video for it soon. I've got to read a few chapters of a textbook today, but after that I have some free time.

As promised, here is a video. It doesn't result in a working hat, but if you follow it you might get some clues as to which direction to go.

Also, you may want to skip through it a bit. It's an hour long, and certainly I could have cut it down a bit.

Thanks! I'll be back with some working armor soon! It'll probably be a helmet... Maybe even a partay hat.
