Sounds like a texture for one of your headwear items has corrupted.

There seems to be an issue with it so perhaps try installing this mod that will re-apply the texture?

All I can suggest is re-installing your game and installing your mods again (making sure to delete your Fable directories).

WHen I attempt to go to Lookout Point it crashes. I tried all versions of this mod. I didnt use this on modded filed as Ive never modded Fable before but I did it exactly as i was told to so I dont know whats wrong.

Nevermind I figured it out I think..Instead of Letting Fable load on its own after clicking save(Didnt realize it was supposed to automatically start the game) I would instead run the game manually....Sorry my mistake. I got it to work after a while

Yes it is. Simply go into the trader's CShopDef, find the shop contents, and add to them. Also, the last post here was in 2009. Check dates. They are in the upper right corner of every post for a reason, and it isn't to look pretty or fill space.
Why the heck do you think you got nailed with the status, "Waker of Dead Threads"? Because every post you have made so far has been a bump of a dead thread.
rules 7 and 8 of package section rules

7.Do NOT bump a dead thread unless you are adding useful information, bumps will be deleted and threads will be locked;
8.In regards to the previous rule - if you have a question on a mod but the author of the mod is inactive and the thread is dead, feel free to make a new thread concerning the mod on the General Mod Discussion board and make sure to provide the name and link to the mod you are discussing or you will be ignored.

Seriously dude, what is so hard to understand about this?
[/rant]

Read the site rules, as well as individual thread rules, stickies and announcements, and use search, or you will have smartassy or exasperated ownage rained down upon you by the site's crack team of mods and admins. Also, you can find all you need to get started on modding here.

I know, been ages since last post, but I have a question....and since I'm pretty sure the author isn't dead. Sorry if I'm meant to make a new thread though, I wasn't entirely sure.

In the first post, it says it has the larger inventory mod, but I saw another one around here, that has the other parts of the inventory included, basically an improved version. If use that, can I just put it over the one on here, or will it cause problems?

It should be fine, but load your preferred larger inventory mod afterwards. The larger inventory mod in the original post is only to compensate for all the extra weapons that will clog up the menu, as long as there is still space for the items, it should be fine. In theory, anyway.

Guess not much can go wrong, as long as I do backups first. I'd hate to have to reinstall mods, took me an hour to load this item pack without getting the corrupted memory error Razz

does this mod work with the older version of fable explorer because whenever i try to load it my fable explorer window doesnt respond and i end up having to end it. im kinda new to the mod scene and its been a while since i last loaded a mod (whitch was one of your older item packs) but back then it worked.
if its because my fable explorer is outdated i dont have the programs to download the newer one. Confused

The older version of FE can be updated with the latest defxml in this thread:
http://fabletlcmod.com/forum/index.php?t=msg&th=1330& ;start=0&
Just replace the def file in the FE folder with the new version. That may not be your problem, but it won't hurt to update. Let us know if that helps.

Hi all,

I've read the thread thoroughly and still can't find a way to fix my problem.. I'm using chocolate box to apply the mod, and up to a point everything seems to work just fine.

I click "save and run fable" and the games starts running.. but when I try to load a save it simply crashes. All it does is give me the usual message "fable stopped working.." I also tried with fable explorer before, or to start a new game instead of loading one.. I have no other mods installed atm..

Any advise would be appreciated
(P.s. I'm quite the "noob" at modding, so..)

I'm not sure about *all* the details of this mod, but it's probably best to use this on a clean set of files (or a clean install) and to start a new save with this one. And I would recommend using FableExplorer to load this mod.

If you're using ChocolateBox, it is possible that the issue has to do with the TNG. I don't think ChocolateBox can even be coaxed through clever trickery to load WAD entries, such as the included TNG. So you will have to download the TNG in the first post as well and place it in the /data/Levels/FinalAlbion directory manually.

And of course there's also the Vista & Windows 7 issue. Here's a super duper handy link for information on that:

Hey there, I've looked EVERYWHERE and haven't found an answer to this error I'm getting.
So, I freeroamed my FinalAlbion.wad (Windows7) and did the tutorial as it said. Even though it didin't appear that "compability" option, it still worked, I mean, I could walk over fences and that stuff.
Soooo, I downloaded Shadownet, dowloaded your mod... used the LookoutPoint.tng and rewrited the one in FinalAlbion folder, and in FE loaded the mod, then save and start. at this point, when I load my save, the game crashed in mid loading screen.
The error describes something about Runtime C++ Or something like that... I have modded before but like 2 years ago, but never got this issue, I tried reinstalling the game, and then, in the fresh install, freeroamed, and then used the mod. Still didn't work.
Even tried only using the mod, and using the FinalAlbion.wad instead of the folder. still crashed...
Please help me, thanks(:

ok im really new to the whole modding of fable and dont exactly know what im doing but my first question is where do i put the lookoutpoint.tng file and when extracting the shadownet to get fable explorer do i replace the .xml file or do i make it to where both the original game .xml file and then new xml file are both in there or what? and with shadownet fe i start the program and the first thing it says is error loading xml definitions and under that it says could not find 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Fable - The Lost Chapters\def.xml and then when i go to load the new item pack v2.5 it says error loading fmp and under that it says object reference not set to an instance of an object.... could someone please help me out here im really lost confused and frustrated any help would be appreciated

Huh... That's definitely weird. The New Item Pack mod can be rather memory intensive to load, though. How powerful is your PC exactly?
