UPDATE - Cleaned the html (i.e. I typed the whole thing from scratch, as oppose to using a WYSIWYG editor)

also looks a lot nicer now, and organized it a little better. More consitency in format.

edit: no feedback?

Hello hello,

I'm back Very Happy *I bet your thinking OMG not this retard again* well here I am. lol. Before re-appearing and annoying you guys about how to mod Fable TLC for Xbox again and I've re-read most of the posts around here and I think I've realized my mistakes. The reason why none of the mods never worked or why I had errors with FE was because I never converted any of the files. I just opened the files straight from he Xbox. Is that the problem ? I hope it is.

Thank you

Max

I don't understand a part in the section in changing your hero. It says to open two copies of the CAppearanceDef App. I cant find anything called the CAppearanceDef App, and i'm not sure whether this is a separate thing.

I think Freeroam is not working for me because I have a Levels folder inside of the levels folder. For instance, I go to the Data folder and open it up and there is a Levels folder inside. When I click on the Levels folder it has the FinalAlbion.wad file and several other files like FinalAlbion.bwd and such. It also has another Levels folder. When I open that, it has a folder called FinalAlbion and two files. They are creaturehub.lev and creaturehub.tng
How do I fix this so I can use Freeroam? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am going in circles with this. Thanks in advance!

Dump in the data folder, not levels, thanks.

I wish I could understand the kind of logic you guys have, seriously.

You can move the second Levels folder into the data folder, when prompted about the possibility of overwriting, do it anyway. Or you can just move the FinalAlbion folder, as well as the creature_hub.tng and creature_hub.lev, to the first Levels folder.

What this does is put the files where they need to be.

Or you can delete it and dump the wad again.
Or you can ignore it and dump the wad again.

Whatever you do, as long as there is a set of levs and tngs that are where they are supposed to be, you're fine.

Preemptive strike: Rename/move/delete the FinalAlbion.wad file when you're done, this cannot be stressed enough and yet there are so many people who forget this crucial step. They come in waves, posting the same thing all over the place, failing to read or search each time. Again, rename/move/delete the FinalAlbion.wad when you're done.

I figured it out John. I was making it more complex than it really was! LOL! I wasn't renaming the FinalAlbion.wad file after I ripped it into the Data Folder! Thanks again! Embarassed
I read it all, I was just afraid of messing with the game files. I didn't want to end up deleting something that I needed to run the game.

Do you want me to hit you? Because I can do that. Don't double-post. Glad you figured it out though.
