Was thinking of making a handful of objects that drastically alter stats.

Such as coins.

BlueTooth's Coin of Gluttony: Instant Fatness
BlueTooth's Coin of Vileness: Instant Evil
BlueTooth's Coin of the Heavans: Instant Good
BlueTooth's Coin of Persuasion: Max Agreeableness

so on and so forth...

Any Thoughts?

I would imagine that it would wear off as normal. The coin is only a stat modifier. It would change your stats to be full fat straight away but unless it somehow maintained the change, the stat would still be affected by the usual counters i.e. exercise.

I could make it add fatty health for all eternity.... But just a straight away change that wears off would probably be best. Wink

Couldnt you do this with augmentations too?



CBonusItemDef works differently than CAugmentationDef.

But if the BonusItem works on Books (A few of them have it) then at least you don't have to attach it to only consumables.

or instead have them removable sort of like a medalion only it can be use for so many times befor it breaks or can't be used or somthing like that



and D00M3D2's coin then amount of damage is reduced to damage of stick or basic weak weapons

ie damage from S.O.A. was 256 now < or = 30 applies to all weapons

if u maybe added the effects to gloves then u could change them as u please. and then u could just make alot of gloves that look different. like white for good and red for evil. or the evil one could look like claws. sorry didn't know it was dead. never mind.
