Okay, I have two questions:

1. I've beed trying to make a texture file in 3Ds Max 7. I don't know if it's impossible in 3Ds Max 7 or if I just suck. I was following the tutorial video that Bluetooth made but that really didn't give me an idea how to make a texture for the weapon. I tried using Google but all I found was tutorials for 3Ds Max 5. Please can someone tell me how to do it?

2. Now this brings me to this, I don't know how to completly import everything into FE, I copy a weapon. Create a new entrie, create new TEXT entries, I don't know how to correctly imort the .X file and the Texture file. I tried searching but nothing seems to tell me exactly please can somebody tell me?

First Install this:
http://www.cuneytozdas.com/software/3dsmax/#Texporter

It's what I use to make skin templates.

All the actual texture work I do in Photoshop. Then I use the material settings in 3ds max to apply it.

Photoshop tuts.

Another good tutorial covering all aspects.

And another one

One of the best sites there are for Models and Textures. Ignore the domain name. This is Ben Mathis's site.

Export a model from FE. Import it into 3ds max. Make sure your model is setup exactly the same.

From there, there is a pretty obvious button used to load new meshes and textures. You link the texture in the material tab of the model.

jpg is best, and to make sure it fits, you got to unwrap a uvw and then textport it out, and edit it. Then lod the mesh in fe, and link it to its texture. then youll see a preview
