i just joined, and i need some help finding a tool or intstructions to rename an item in my inventory that i have purchased or obtained. (in this case its the item i got using the shopkeeper trainer by hesperus. anyway id like to change the item name 'Scimitar' (sp?) to the actual name of the item. because 'thunders sword' and 'sythe's sythe' are both named 'scimitar')

okay, i figured it out myself on how to change the name, however its the same name for thunders sword AND the scythe. how do i make the scythe one name and thunders sword another name?

Make a new text entry and CInventoryItemDef.

can i delete the old one and then add the new one? or do i just leave it and make a new one.

Search, I'd recommend sorting the results in ascending order as usually it's the first time something is mentioned that it gets the best answers, after that it's just wrong answers and people saying "use search" but who could blame them?

alright so i made a new text entry and linked it with the id to the CInventoryItemDef but it says (error finding entry) and i cant get a link. what do i do now

alright, im really stuck with this, is there some kind of guide i can use to figure this out. any help would be greatly appreciated.
