I used The Wife script.
But It won't marry you or talk.
It will however love you and follow you.

It probibly wont marry you because since it already has the wife script, it is already concidered married to you perhaps?

No, no, no. I Mean like it is courtable. Not already married.
Like some NPC's Will or Will Not marry you. This is one that is supposed to be courtable but you cannot marry because of the balverine's speech impediment.

It follows the guard script internally. A Monster Guard instead of asking for marriage will ask to sponsor break. If you say yes the game usually freezes.

The slow motion is a filter on the audio. You can pretty much pass anything through this filter and it will change the pitch of the audio.

Looking at the other site you would of noticed this 8 months ago. Wink

Your not getting what I'm Saying. It doesn't talk at all.
The Bodygaurd talks slomo. The wife Doesn't.

I've only played with it a short time a long time ago. Everything I tried worked, so I have no idea why you would have a problem. Marriage was the main goal. It asks for marriage but the text points to sponsor break and it won't go anything further.

It is a simple filter, listen to audio you will hear no such audio. It may be hard to hear it listen closely, if you still can't hear it try something else.

8 months ago I wasn't at the forum, and I only searched this site (I know, bit lazy).
But thanks for the explanation.

I tried to marry the 'thing', didn't work for me. Got the heart flashing yellow, but there it ends.
Not that I really want to marry a balverine, so it's not that important.

Thought of something else to add.

Originally, the spell we know as Physical Shield was two seperate spells: Mental Shield and Physical Shield. Mental Shield acted like the Physical Shield we're familiar with, and the original Physical Shield surrounded the hero with...magical shields. On higher levels, those shields would get better in quality; From wood, to iron, to bronze, to gold.

I did see some of the remains of it in the effects.big. Did you check the effects by swapping? Or don't they exist anymore?

In a sense, yes. But I swapped them with Thunder's shield, because at the time I thought they were actual...shields. And they are, in a way, but...well, you know what I mean.

It's sort of like...a big sphere with some shields stuck on it. It's not great, but I suppose that depends on what your definition of "good" is.

So about the mental shield, some parts of it are still there, effects, and I think I came across icons...
But wat is missing? In order to make the spell useable I mean. Cause it's not possible, right?

I decided I'd bring back this thread with a warning; be careful what you edit in effects.big.

I tried to replace the vomit effect with something called "blue magic spray". As soon as I drink...you know, a lot of beer, he throws up. As he should. So this enormous amount of bright blue light comes out, and instead of going down it goes forward.

http://img492.imageshack.us/img492/2517/1031200545358pm6od.th.jpg

That wouldn't have been so bad, had I not realized that it wasn't going away. The end result was this gigantic trail of somewhat-blue light that followed me around everywhere. It was stuck there. In my head.

Yeah, my hero was 61 and I notices his eyes where glazed over like that, it only happened with one out of 4 characters though..

Similar, but different. They've got a different mesh. It's not much different though.

The armor is dark plate (chest piece) bandit (gloves) assassin (legs) and dark villager (boots) all put together.

That is so intresting! I am really curious what these were going to be used for.

I wonder if it had anything to do with the 'Fae' realm that someone was talking about.

they kind of look like the trails that the pixies use when they are whipping around... the blue looks like the ice pixie, and the red like the undead pixie.... although i could be VERY wrong.

By the time Fable 2 releases, there won't be a dog in the game, and there won't be a boy, either. Fable 2 will be a puzzle game similiar to Tetris, only not as fun. But with way better graphics.

The Fae realm doesn't, nor did it ever, exist. Somebody made that up in a magazine that is prone for that sort of thing.

The files in the game are a reference to the faeries.

They were just generic particle effects, I'm sure, that never ended up being used.

I'm starting to like the way things work here... Though I still need to learn how to mod better, I just hope one day I can learn to understand all the terms, and where I can find all the other utilities (besides the ones provided, which are very helpful by the way Smile ) needed for modding... One question, how to we model swap? I've been trying to find out but I just can't seem to find out, appreciate the help Very Happy
