how do i set the helpers in 3d max for a model ive created?


(i beleive the helpers are the points for grabbing the flourish and such correct me if im wrong)

This is what each do. Easiest and fastest way to create them is to copy them from an existing model. Otherwise look to create a dummy or point object in Max.

A helper in 3DS is basically a blank mesh. So make a simple object like a cube, convert it to a mesh, take out all the vertices inside it, rename it to what you want/need the helper to be named, and you've got yourself a helper.
