Advice plz [message #61338]

When I download packages like the boast expression etc and put them in treasure chests. when I open the spawned chest, there's nothing in there. What do I do?

I'm now really getting back into mods again, so forgive me if I seem like a noob.

Not bad, it is what you need to do to make a mod part of your game. I am just starting with the obvious possible reason a mod doesn't work for you.

Are you putting the right thing in the chest, as in:
OBJECT_EXPRESSION_FOLLOW_DUMMY
and not some other part of the expression?

Link to the mod you are talking about if you are sure you put the correct name in the chest, I will look at the mod.

now it's got worse with mod expressions. I added boast to a treasure chest and it opened the chest but nothing happened or it'll shut the game down.

I used that script, changing the coordinates and UID only to match the DemonDoorGuild. It worked fine, the chest gave me the potion and the expression, I dont have the helmets applied to my game, so it skipped them. I guess you could try moving the chest or changing the UID. I didn't use the fmp you attached, I used the original from here:

That means that you're either making a typo with the boast expression or you are not applying the mod (or you're doing so incorrectly).

Results. If you applied the mod correctly, you're doing the script wrong. If you're doing the script correctly, you're applying the mod wrong. If you're doing both wrong, then I guess we aren't very helpful.
