Unfortunately the file format for the maps is fairly insane, and nobody has gotten this working yet. We can edit the collision of the ground, but it just yields invisible ground. It is possible that you could create the ground in blender and just put it down like a building, but things tend to vanish when you aren't looking right at the center of it when it's big. I think there's some metadata that we can't access from CBox or FE that controls how 'large' the mesh is which would be used in render culling, and I may look into changing that.

There can be no expanding of the map though, right? You'd have to edit the stb file/s. I would like to know what info is contained in the .lev files, though. Does it just tell where the hero can walk and connect fillers?

Are you shpongled?

I think the lev file just defines walkable space and AI pathing, but I am not sure. The stb defines all the mesh, collision, and plantlife.

Would it be possible to stretch the walkable space and make it larger so that you can go off-map basically?

No, not really. There's a pretty big area though, I forget which but it's one of the filler areas and it's the biggest map portion in the game, totally unused. One of the cold northern areas, I forget.

Oh cool, I'm gonna look for that now, hah. Is there a texture pack that makes the snow grassy? I've tried doing it but the snow is still there... Which textures does it use(texture ID)?

Cbox gives this error when I open one of the fillers:

Could this be it?

I think I found it...

Double post because I can only attach 1 file per post and I didn't want to upload it to a website because the link might die.
