In my new retexture mod 'Hotline Albion' ( http://fabletlcmod.com/forum/index.php?t=msg&th=11085&am p;am p;am p;start=0&),
I appear to be running into a bit of an issue when changing the colour of some objects, mainly hats and helmets.

The problem being, that stuff like the Fisherman Hat and the Whore wig tend to have a visual issue, even if I avoid those areas when retexturing.
This also occurred when I re-did the textures and saved them as PNGs and setting the DXT to 1 just causes the game to crash.

All I really use is GIMP and I am not totally sure how to get around this.

Set alpha to 1 also. Other than that I have no idea.

If I recall, it is usually set to 1 by default.

I never had an issue with the Pimp Hat because it has a separate alpha texture.
And somehow, I managed to do it with the Chicken Hat?

This game can be weird sometimes.
