Not exactly mod-related but...

What music, if any, do you listen to whilst playing Fable? I personally mute the fable tunes and load up WMP and crank some Metal as I find it gets me in the villager-killin' mood...

Thats my mnan right there. METAL METAL METAL! I just wish there was a way i could swap out the music in the game with my own Mp3s like you could don in the Sims 2 thatd F***ing awsome

*Note you might want to back up your Fable music files before doing this.

  • Find a song you want to use in Fable. E.g. Reign In Blood.mp3
  • Grab yourself a converter like the one here.
  • Load it up in the conversion program.
  • Save it as the Fable music file of your choice. This will be a .ogg file for PC users or .wma for Xbox users.
  • Close the converter and open Fable.
  • Enjoy the new tunes.

I figured that out a while ago! You can also set the music as the default sound played on the levels! I just get nic mood from listening to Metallica, Dio, Led Zeppelin and the other 250 artists on my computer that makes me want to kill people! Very Happy

Good thing the sound files can be changed. I've put some Chrono Trigger and Legend of Zelda music in mine (they fit surprisingly well). I know it's nerdy, but I like it! Rolling Eyes

I recommend a band called Moonsorrow for in game music. It's metal, but it had a medieval feel to it. It's my favourite band Wink

I just open up HotHits and put Fable on mute, when the song finishes pause the game and press Alt+Tab to go to the HotHits page and change song... Laughing

How do you get HTML going on here....
