Well i haven't personally made one yet still trying to figure out how lol
anyways i wanted to ask someone if they could make a sword out of this design.....

You can make it yourself.

First you will need Fable Explorer 4 available from the 'development section'. Second, you will require 3DS MAX - Trial version available from Autodesk.

Create the model using the above image for reference.

Once you have done that, I'll assist you further.

i have explorer and when i go to download error page cannot be read Shocked sign shows..... Confused

But what are you having trouble downloading, 3ds max I assume? Works fine for me, try it again.

I dont think ive done that lol, ive just modeled the sword and textured it, thats all. No extra things added with MAXscripting or something.

If you export a sword from the game using Fable Explorer and view it in 3Ds Max you will see the models helpers and such. These need to be present or thye game will have a fit.

Going to try it now, thanks for helping me mate Smile.

And another thing, just a question I have seen a screenshot with a sword with an awesome effect on it, like lightning and fire around it like a thundeck effect, I have included the image in the post.
I have read how to do this but cant find the section Effect in the sword file like example:
Sword of Aeons
-> CWeaponDef
---> Effect (?? Cant find something with a name like Effect)
there was a small piece of information how to do this when I searched for it, need to look it up again on the forum.

Thats an effect called Fire Lightning which Marcopolo had used on a sword.

Taken from a post by Marcopolo in the Screenshots thread:

1. Open Fable Explorer
2. Click the weapon you want
3. Click cweapondef
4. Look through effects.big for the effect you want (the one i used is called fire lightning or something to that affect)
5. Scroll down in the cweapondef and find the effects section (it should be marked)
6. Change the current numbers in the 2 boxes to the id number of the effect that you want
7. Apply/save changes

Here's a guide on helpers:

- Export existing mesh from Fable usinf Fable Explorer.
- Import this file into MAX.
- Use the list select to select the existing swords mesh and delete it.
- Merge your own sword with the scene.
- Click 'Graph Editors> New Schematic View' and use the connect function to repair the hierarchy. [You will need to link the MESH_*_* with your weapon.
- Export file as .x with PandaX.

- Enjoy.
