Hey, I've been playing Fable(original) since it's September 2004 release(had it the first day!). I only recently softmodded my xbox. How and where do I install the mods. Remember I'm on xbox. Thanks in advance!

Essentially, its the same concept as the rest of the modding on this site. So, do some searching and ask some more specific questions.

Here's a little something to get you started:

1) If you're installing a mod from this site, make sure the Mod is for XBOX. There aren't many, but there are a few, so make sure they are specifically for XBOX. Also, don't ask for PC -> XBOX mod conversions, people hate that.

2) You need to have your copy of FABLE TLC copied to your XBOX hard disk, and have FTP access to copy files back and forth.

3) Download and install Fable Explorer from this site here.

4) Read the directions on using Fable Explorer here:

5) Additional noteworty XBOX threads:
http://fabletlcmod.com/forum/index.php?t=msg&th=1436& ;amp ;start=0&
http://fabletlcmod.com/forum/index.php?t=msg&th=1430& ;start=0&

That should get you started...

Is there a tutorial for doing this on xbox? I read through the Fable Explorer thing and it didn't help me at all...

Ok, I got the Bowerstome Laws and Mortal kids mods to work. Where do I open the FMP for the tweaked scars? Everytime I try it says 'Mismatched something or other 34'.

Replace the def.xml that came with Fable Explorer by default.

In summary, it goes in the same folder where FE got installed.

If all else fails, search your computer's HDD for "def.xml".

Ok, now where do I open up the scars/bruises.fmp.

Not sure what you're asking here...

You do the same thing you did with the other FMP you used.

4) Read the directions on using Fable Explorer here:

Ok, I love the way the scars look! Is there anyway to make them permanently red like they are below?

Also, what settings do I need to change to make him look like this with tons of scars on his face.

I converted his fmp and it should a 100% conversion. I'm pretty sure he used a trainer to get beat up and live. I suppose I could look into it and try to increase it for you.

YOU ROCK!

Another question, how do I make every type of eye(will, old, normal...) turn to evil instead.

go to the heromorph and put the evil eye texture id into all of the ones that would normally change your eyes to one of ther other colours

There once was a member of this land,
a humorous posting he planned,
but when he posted,
by mods he was toasted,
and now he has found himself banned.
