where do I put the plugins to make them work??

Maybe you should find a site that teaches the basics of 3ds Max?

Apathy Cannot Inspire.
Ambivalence cannot lead.
Loved me. Feared me.
Changed me. Killed me.
Anything would be something.
But nothing is worst of all.

..I thought there were pluggins on this site that made it so I could modify fable's weapons and so on.
that's what my question was.

You have a subfolder in your 3ds Max folder called plugins...

C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 8\plugins

put it there.

Also I'd recommend exporting an existing model from the graphis.big and take a look at it in 3ds to see how it's build up...

this is not an exit.

Any 3d modelling program that is capable of importing and exporting the .x format is fine.

There is nothing in the Void.
There is no point to it's being.
I wish there was a reason.
There is nothing in the Void,
But what we put there.
