Here's a guide to add a weapon to your inventory using ONLY Fable Explorer.
Since a lot of people don't understand tng's or the FreeRoam app thought this can be handy.
Also this makes it easy to add new weapons to your inventory without having to spawn them.
You can use this method for meelee and ranged weapons.
This is how you do it:
Make a backup of your game.bin (fable/data/compiled defs/)
1. Start Fable Explorer (get it here).
2. Look for CREATURE in the scrollbar to your left.
3. Double-click CREATURE and scroll down until you find CREATURE_HERO (it's number 1470) and double-click it.
4. In the new window click on the [+] in the left panel and scroll down until you find Weapon 1 and click on it.
5. Now put the object ID of the weapon you want to add to your inventory. (In the case of Sword of Aeons it's 5526.)
6. Click 'Apply Changes' in the CREATURE_HERO window.
7. Then, in the top bar in Fable Explorer, click 'Actions' and 'Save mods and run Fable'
8. Wait till Fable starts.
Weapon ID's:
You can find the ID numbers of the weapons under OBJECT in the game.bin (it's in the same list as CREATURE from step 2).
Under OBJECT they are somewhere near the end (numbers 5474 - 5628).
Now under Weapon 1 there's also Weapon 2 and Weapon 3.
You can use the same method from Weapon 1 for Weapon 2, but Weapon 3 doesn't work.
Also you can repeat this proces, but you have to save after every time you change the weapon's ID's, or the weapons will disappear.
Have fun.

There is nothing in the Void.
There is no point to it's being.
I wish there was a reason.
There is nothing in the Void,
But what we put there.

It doesn't hurt to check for yourself.
I believe the number is 5528 for Avo's Tear.

You double posted, that's edit button neglect! For shame...
Jokes aside, and on to the answer, look for yourself. You're there in FE, just take a look at the objects section in the game.bin.
Weapon IDs range from 5474 to 5629.
And as for the 'ramblomatic' explanation bit, maybe you should consider learning how to spawn chests with everything you want all at one time, like silver keys, or better, the Avenger.

Go to My Documents, My Games, Fable, Photojournal then open the file with the name of the character you got pictures on.

"why are people having a hard time?"
Good question, many answers, here are some I can think of.
1. Some people only kind of know how to use their computers, just really enough to play games and browse the internet. They find out that they can mod their favorite game and check it out. Since they have little computer know-how, simple stuff confuses them. After this, they either ask questions, try to figure it out themselves, give up right away, or get their geek friend/relative to do it.
2. They're total idiots .

Open up Fable Explorer and look in the OBJECT section.
No one's going to list things just for you.

It's good to keep in mind that objects in the game aren't always labeled such in FE. Still, common sense can help you figure it out. Here's how that works:
Twinblade is also known as the Bandit King, so things marked "bandit_king" or "BK" or "twinblade" could all very likely have to do with the same thing. If you still have doubts, try it, if it doesn't work, then you know that you've got the wrong thing and should try something else.

Hi Guys,
this is my first post, but i am reading the forum for past three days, i tried modding few things as well that all are working, but i am unable to add a weapon to my inventory.
as suggested in this post, I have taken the weapon id of Skorms bow(Legendary Crytal Longbow), and replaced weapon 2 ID in creature_hero, with it, but still when i save changes and run fable through FE, I can't find the skorms bow in my inventory though in FE it shows taht my weapon Id for Weapon2 has been changed.
Could someone please let me know what am I doing worng.
Thanks

Weapons 1 and 2 are for swords. Weapon 3 (if it's still called that, not sure) is for ranged weapons. Put your bow in the third weapon slot and see if that works.
