When I was trying to change the attack style of the main chaacter it gives me a error message.Perhaps im doing it wrong. Can anyone tell me how to make it so the character swings his sword like Thunder or Briar Rose?

You'd have to add (the correct) animations to the CAppearanceDef of the hero.

It's kinda complicated, since the hero has about 850 animations if I remember correct.

There are two ways:
1.
Swap the ID's of the animations you want between the hero and Thunder, they are in the graphics.big (they start with ANIM_).

2.
There's an application for working with animations and the CAppearanceDef (adding and removing them) here.
But keep in mind that none of us has done a lot with it, so there is little support for the app.

BlueTooth used the app to add the staff animations to the hero. (That mod can be found here.)
I would suggest taking a look at that, and the difference with the original CAppearanceDef of the hero.

So in very simple terms:
I think what you'd need to do is export the CAppearanceDef of Thunder and the hero (with fable explorer listed in the CDefs of the CREATURE_HERO and CREATURE_RIVAL_HERO_THUNDER).
And 'copy and paste' the animations you want from Thunder to the hero.

The animation are as so:

Action
Anim ID
Action(different form, same thing)
Variable(Such as using a sword, walking/running, etc etc)
The rest of the data refers to combo attacks.

Anything would be something.
But nothing is worst of all.
