I get to the last file of installing Fable and it says this

I would imagine that the machine is having trouble reading that file.

Check the surface of the disc/s and look for dirt/scratches/fingerprints.

Also, if you are installing over the top of an existing copy of the game ensure that no files are set as read-only.
