after having compleated fable TLC a few times i had decided to try my hand at modding it but could not get it to work with vista i then started moding a difrent game oblivion this worked but i love fable i was wonder if there was aney way to get the textures and mesh files from things like the fable wepons and armour and import them into oblivion they use the same texture format dds but i think the mes is difrent as oblivion uses .nif i was wonder if this was posable and if so how would i go about doing it thanks

p.s. i know this isent for fable it is liked to it if i get it working i can share them with aney one who also playes oblivion

edit: ok so ive found the meshes in fableexplorer as grafics.big is there aeny way to extract the whole folder

Yes the folder can be extracted. Getting them to be usable in Oblivion on the other hand is a whole 'nother thing. To extract it, just go into your Fable-The Lost Chapters folder and...well...extract Razz

Yes, but then there's the matter of importing them into Oblivion, as the last time I checked that sort of thing was still being worked on.

Find the meshes that you want. Export them into Blender (or any other 3d modelling app) and then save as whatever format is used by Oblivion.

1. Open FE
2. Open graphics.big
3. Find a mesh and open it.
4. Hit save model lod

You now have an extracted mesh.

There is nothing in the Void.
There is no point to it's being.
I wish there was a reason.
There is nothing in the Void,
But what we put there.
