Roughing up the Hero. [message #20020]

While fiddlingin an attempt to make a mod, I found a "Stubble" template. Is there a way I can make that the DEFAULT appearance?

Yes. You can either replace the normal textures with those, or edit the CHeroMorphDef (found with Fable Explorer, CREATURE, Creature_hero, CDefs, the link under CHeroMorphDef).

Stubble appears with strength. And I think after removing beards and mustaches if I remember.

Well, looks like CHeroMorphDef is actually out, as my non-aging non-will non-everything mod deleted most things within that Sad

Replacing the textures has proven tricky. I looked up the Texture for the stubble, and it's got a strange, purple background on it... So I can't REPLACE it, as I assume the purple is for Transparency. Could I simply find a way to overlay it on the default?

Sorry if I sound like a horrible newb. Trying to learn this, and making a lot of mistakes along the way. x.x

all textures that go over the hero's skin besides tan and anti-tan have the purple background, so overlying the stubble with purple background will be normal Smile

Now that I know that I can do that, do I use photoshop to create an overlay, or is the tool in Fable Explorer somewhere?
