Sorry to double post, but for some reason, whatever i change StealDurationSeconds to stealing always takes the same time. Anyone got any advice?

You mean it doesn't work?

You did click 'Apply Changes'?

I did the same thing, I have a funny feeling the time an Item takes to steal is located in the Item Cdefs rather than the scripts.

Busting doors open instantly is quite fun, and if you set the StealChanceCaught or whatever it is, to 0.001 you hardly ever get nabbed for stealing Wink

Changing the times also makes pick pocket actually usable.

yup i clicked apply and save mods and run fable, perhaps what leviathan said is true. I think that steal time could maybe be a base time it takes to steal an item and additional time is added depending on the type of item.

just my 2 cents.

I think it may be linked to how valuable the item is...

Someone try setting an obsidian weapon to a value of 5 gold and see what happens when you try to steal one.
