no problem, actually, progress is slow, so I'll work harder, and try to recruit some tng modders to help. It seems most of the modders here have left though, here soon I may be the only one left, besides John Doe and Satan

Not to worry though, *name removed to protect pm's from flooding in* has something cooking up that will eventually save the site Smile

To make a long story short, I'm going to work harder to get that mod going

You're going to have to do the evil side of the quest where you steal them, you will beat the quest right when you walk in. I found a bug though, when I get done with the trader escort quest to take the traders to barrow fields, I walk into Oakvale and the game freezes. Can someone help me with this?

Ok, and also I'm kind of new to mods, I just started yesterday. I was wondering how you make "back ups" and also I tried getting Jack of Blade's eyes but when I put in the number for his eyes to CREATURE_HERO's eyes, my eyes got all big and were cross eyed. So I modded it again and now I have no eyes. Can you please teach me how to swap eyes and change to other characters clothes and hair and weapons?

Ok I'm starting to get the hang of it. I found out it wasn't Fable Bare that freezed my game, ever since I played without mods Oakvale worked fine, but now when I do mods, for some reason it freezes everytime I go to Oakvale so now I can't continue the story Sad any help?

Ok I have done bare one time and took it off because I thought it caused the problem, then I got extra weapons for "weapon 1" and "weapon 2" in FE. Then I put Jack of Blades ID in my Heroes ID so I became Jack. Then my sword was between my feet going into my "stuff". So then I modded the sword sheathe to all be in "RIGHT HAND" so I never put my sword away, that fixed that problem. I have also messed with eyes, and made my eyes huge and even had no eyes, now I have Jack's eyes. I do not know what caused it to freeze Oakvale but this really sucks, I cant even go past the 3rd story quest since Oakvale wont work Sad I would really appreaciate it if you could some how, connect Barrow Fields and Oakvale together?

What happens is im in Barrow Fields, I walk into the entrance for Oakvale, the little spinny thing at the bottom right of the screen to show its loading takes forever. And when it disappears all I see is a black screen that says Oakvale under it in white writing.

no, but it's easy to do if you're interested

make sure that you have Chocolate Box, then go to game.bin, and scroll down to CAMERA_MODE>>CAMERA>>PC_FAR [870]

open it, go to FOV, and turn the number up a little, and go to dolly length, and turn the number up a little, then go to File>>Save and save over game.bin, when it's done close the window and start fable to test it

You don't, unless you want to remap the textures of all of the models. Even then, porting textures on that kind of scale is pushing the fair use limits by a long shot. And even then, those textures suck in comparison. Stretching them out for use in Fable will make them look like butt.

well don't do that, there's always the option of making the texture yourself

(yes, I know that was a joke)

you'd need to export different parts of the hero's texture, and paint over it yourself

In FE? All you have to do is change the name of the texture you want to copy, the hero and his stuff. Then find the "load" button and find you texture.

Same things goes for exprting except you click "save as".

nah, actually though, I should do this

it would be wildly simple to do I think, with a batch file actually, I could even make it compatable with EVERY mod *I think*

the basic idea would be to run a batch file that edits every single tng file in the FinalAlbion folder that replaces some objects with blank objects

I think I may do that if people want me to

The New World since I've already got the files ready, unless you really need these soon, in which case I can just back up the files and work on this.

I actually have to disagree with that, sorry

Fable: Bare, while appears to have no bugs right now, is not nearly what I had wanted and imagined it to be. I got rid of a lot of rocks, making it look more 'bare' than I intended, and some things are there that should not be. The next release will hopefully be better though , and judging from the response from the first one, I think it'll be a hit Wink

Thanks though, I do appreciate it.
