Is it possible to make the animation of impact different on a weapon?

Example: I am currently working on a hammer. On impact I want a ripple effect.

So is it possible to make the impact animation that of a fishing spot or would it be constant?

I think you can, check the CSpecialEffectsDef. Some effects might cause a crash, so make backups.

I'd also recommend make a new CSpecialEffectsDef entry, since multiple weapons probably use the same entry.

No, unless you're good with a hex editor and figuring out unknown data in file formats Wink

[edit]

Yeah I'm talking about the ripples in the water. I saw a pic on here some where. Some one attached it to a weapon on accident but it was always active. That gave me the idea.

I posted a pic of it, but that wasn't accidental...

Oh I see. was the effect tied to a weapon as an augmentation?

Impact Effects are also stored in the MATERIAL entries.
