Just for fun and games to those who like Gaara [message #41993]

So I have came to it and signed up to this site hoping that some of you super crazy modders can help me with a few things till i catch the hang of it.

I want to know if anyone can help me with these things here:
Hairstyle
Face Tattoo
Clothing - Torso, Hands, Pants, and Feet
Weapon melee
Weapon Ranged

Thats the simple list to anyone that can help me

for the hairstyle i'd like it to look like his, leaving a small gap to show his forehead on the side of his scar/tattoo and if you can get the hair to actually be red in game i would be cool.

for the tattoo i'd like it too be his love symbol on his head [red like that] but also i would like his eyes to have those dark circles too. tattoo : http://www.cosplay.janchan.com/prints/naruto/gaara2.jpg

for the clothing which would be just the torso, pants, and feet... i'd like to have his suit done if you need a better look at the shoes here : http://www.allanimedvd.com/images/shop/naruto/accessories/sh oes_black.jpg

for the weapons which may be tricky...
weapon 1 is the sword, which in this case i'd like his gourd on his back... but when you draw the weapon the gourd stays on his back. when you swing the weapon, which i would like it to still punch and kick i want sand to fling out and attack in front of him... the gourd : http://thumbs2.modthesims2.com/images9/MTS2_400446_ronyu02_r onyu02_Gaara_Gourd.jpg

weapon 2 would be a shuriken, like those bombs hidden in fable that whisper uses... but use a shuriken instead [shuriken : ninja star four point prefer] but can you make it have a sand texture, but when it hits the enemy it poofs into sand

ok kale. As far as i know, the hair editing, as in making it garra's style, is impossible. same for the color, but on that front ask someone more skilled.

gimme twenty minutes, i'll post the custom tatoo.
including the eyes.

i cant model the gourd or sword thingy, but others may.

same for the ranged behavior shuriken.

i am opening photoshop cs3 as i type. just give me a little time, and you got the tatoo plus the eyes.

the eyes suck, may look better ingame. sorry, im still leaning all of photoshops nuances.

*edit**** please note: garra's tatoo is not above his eye becaus it would be covered by the hero's hair. it may still be, idk. also, in the manga it's not a tat it is a scar that he carved himself with the very sand that is his prison.

hmmm well if editing a tatto is that easy then hell i can do it... and maybe a little better, no offense you probally did it in like 0 to 20 seconds... but if i had that face template then it would work...

but for the hair style... well that sucks on my part... Sad

if anyone could do the gourd and shuriken then kudos, cuz i only have 3dsmax 7 but don't know how to use it well... Crying or Very Sad

well i was thinking the hair... why not make a helmet like the hair and my guy would be bald then put on the helmet hair... lol
think it could be done?

sorry for the crap quality. the face tatoo template is located in the c:/documents/my games/fable/tatoos/(insert profile name here)

or whatever on your comp. should be something like that.

And, should you screw that one up, the game stores backups in the program files folder. These can be copy and pasted over the ones in your tattoo folder yourself or you can delete your ones and let the game copy them there on the next run.

I haven't noticed a correct answer yet, but about the hair...

All that needs changing is the color in a photoshop. I could that.

The hair part that doesn't show up, not hard either. Use the

pudding basin haircut (that the name?) and you can see everything.

As for the head, that's the real crapshoot.

1.The Hero has a cleft chin, you picture of Gaara? doesn't.

2.Gaara's? head is more of a round shape and the Hero's isn't.

3.Gaara has angled eyes, and lastly, the hero doesn't.

[EDIT]The sand attacking pot would never work. Yes a weapon, no the sand.

well i don't mean the acutal pot (gourd) to attack

i just want the gourd to show up as the weapon, but you not actually use it... it stays there and your real weapon is invisible so when you attack just a dirt/sand animation plays... like the fire/lighting/etc... effects... you know?

and i don't really care about the model look... just that its almost like him... just for fun...

Okay, fair enough. Don't know about the ivisable weapon though.
Maybe the same walkthrough as sheathing i suppose.
