Copied weapons and their respective Textures [message #43248] Sat, 28 June 2008 12:46 Go to next message

Quick question, oh and John don't answer this if you're tired of
these, i was planning on releasing the AGWS thingy of mine much
sooner, but i can't seem to get the textures right. Here's what
i did.

1.Went to all of the Master Weapon Textures and the SoA texture (the ones i copied).

2.Exported them, and saved them.

3.Created the respective entries in the Textures.big.

4.Opened them up..."Error displaying Data"...usual, didn't care.

5.Imported the data.

6.Applied changes.

7.Closed and opened them back up

8."Error displaying Data"

That's it. Is copying texture data and changing them different
from copying text entries for new/existing weapons? I followed
the same method from Morerunes' video tutorial a while ago and
it still has the "Error Displaying entry" message (Sorry for not
changing the aboves errors, but they're the same message).

Well, thanks in advance, whatever the reply.

Were you sick? Anyway, i guess it was different from my first one,
but for the texture entries, you didn't add new entries, you
just changed the texture.

I exported the textures and then created the new entries, then
imported the data, and nothing happened. Unless you have to
choose the texture it uses in the graphics.big, it was basically
the same method i used. And i did create and load an fmp.

[EDIT]And for other people, your video cuts off, so you might have left some onfo. out on the meshes or whatever you were talking about.

I know, I changed the texture, renamed it, and if you were listening then after you load the fmp you made it will be a NEW texture, not overwrite any other

edit: yeah, I am sick, but the video cuts off at no important part, no info was left out besides save mods and run fable
