Quick qustion again. Thinking of my little talk with John, abouy
how some weapons share textures (he knew already too Very Happy ) made
me think that the yew crossbow was a shared texture as well.

Is it? I went to the weapon textures and got all of the regular
weapon sets (all of them), the legendary weapons, and the stick.
But, the only one i couldn't find, was the Yew Crossbow.

I'll see if CBox supports textures as well, but please search
too. And lastly, i don't care if you include sarcasm or insults
in your post. I can see why...

Thanks in advance.

If a weapon/object contains a cTextureReplacementDef in its listing then its a shared model.

There is nothing in the Void.
There is no point to it's being.
I wish there was a reason.
There is nothing in the Void,
But what we put there.

While I still don't know what you're talking about, there's a simple way to see what textures are in what meshes.

You can open the mesh entry, switch to the materials tab, click on the material and check out the ID for the base texture. Then switch over the the textures.big, find that ID. If you can't find the mesh entry, take a look in the main OBJECT entry in the game.bin.

What I found out is that the yew crossbow uses a steel crossbow texture, and the oak and brass/master crossbows use the same texture. I checked for CTextureReplacementDefs, none found.

Trace these things before asking about it.

What the hell? You've been here for more than two months and you still don't know how to do this?

Lionhead did some stupid things with the models and textures, including using the same models across entries with different textures. They only have a handful of CTextureReplacementDefs. Looking at how they did a lot of this makes me think they were going for the Ballmer Peak and overshot by quite a bit.

Thanks John. But, over two months, i haven't been focusing on
the textures and stuff. I didn't think that the
ctexturereplacmentdef didn't have to do with the actual textures
anyway. I didn't know what it was used for.
