i really need help agian Razz
i retextured my obsidian weapon set
when i have them on its no problem
but when i go to shop keeper and stuff my fable
stops please help or send me a link for the tut because
i cant find it Razz



and i only make new texture i didnt do all those thing with numbers like ID's i dunno how to fix this Razz

Alpha.

Open the textures, find something that says Alpha. It will say 1. Change it to 0.
Apply Changes, Actions|Save Mods and Run Fable.

That should make it work.

ok all swords worked Razz
but now only the katana gives a error

That might be a bug in the application itself. Try it with FableExplorer.

Quiet.

You're question hasn't been overlooked, nor is it being ignored.
I, for one, like to investigate what could have caused the error in the first place before trying to resolve the problem.

There is no problem with either Chocolate Box or Fable Explorer, as the texture opens fine for me with either program. That eliminates the possibility that it is just one of those textures that doesn't work like a few others.

Not knowing exactly what the problem is, there is always an easy way to resolve it.

1.) Open another texture entry.
2.) Export the Sub Header data as well as the Entry data, name the exported data anything you want, so long as you remember which is which.
3.) Open the texture entry that has the problem. Import the Sub Header and Entry data. Apply Changes. Close and reopen the entry.
4.) Load your retexture into the entry again. Set Alpha to 0. Apply Changes.
5.) Save Mods and Run Fable, allowing the textures.big to recompile and you to play the game.

Still, I'd like to know what could have caused this, if you have any idea, please tell us, as this may give us some insight as to why some other textures can't be opened (keep in mind that they opened in previous versions of FE).

i think i know what caused the problem
i loaded the new texture from all other as a DXT 1
only the katana as a DXT 3
i dunno why i loaded it as DXT 3
i think i just wanna to look what the diference where
and i know my english is pretty bad;)
