Ive been a Fable fan for a long time, since it came out on XBox and the nthe expansion for the PC. Today I got back into it after about a year or 2 after not playing and I was thinking if there were ways to mod or hack the game. And thats when I found this forum =)

Thing is I wasnt to learn how to mod and Ive searched but couldnt find a thread showing whats needed to mod items etc and/or how to use the tools. If anyone could point me in the right direction I would be pleased. And one more question, DO you need previous experience with modding to start, or can I learn from starting here?

those should help you out, and you don't necessarily need previous modding experience, but fable's game files can be a little whack, and this is probably the hardest game to mod.

Luckily, there is a relatively new tool that makes modding fable only slightly harder than modding something like oblivion, called Chocolate Box, and unfortunately for some people the word is spreading really slowly, and some are still using an older program called Albion Explorer. Anytime you hear about Albion Explorer, just know that Chocolate Box is the newer version, and to get that instead

Also, CBox automatically applies freeroam, so don't worry about that either

Awesome, Im glad I got a response from someone with alot of experience. Last night I started messing around like adding items to my inventory and changing my HP, with Fable Explorer.

But I really want to start Moding the real stuff, and this can really get me on my feet, when I get home from school today Ill download these programs and get to work. Thanks alot. Very Happy
