Is their anyway to skip child hood and even better aprentice training and get straight into the main game? I ask so mods that require you to start a new game can be used more freely.

Well u can always save the game after completing it the forst time and just keep loading that file when starting a new game.

I know of what could be considered a lame method. Comment out some lines in the ini files:
user.ini
ActivateQuest("Gameflow");
userst.ini
SetStartingHolySite("NOVStartHSP");
To comment out these lines, just add // to the beginning of the line, example (because I know it's needed, sadly):
// This is a commented line.
This line is not commented.
Doing this will disable gameflow and have the Hero spawn at LookoutPoint. The problem with this is that you can't continue to the "main game".

But...

That, OR get through it once, exit the game. Get to the files of the gamesaves, copy the gamesave file you made, put it anywhere. Whenever you want to make a new account, just copy the file back into the gamesave folder and rename it how you wish.

Why not just complete Childhood and Apprentice, then save, and KEEP the save for further use? Confused

there's also the possibility of editing the start cutscene to "finish" the first oakvale quest for you, then you'd just have to finish up the guild.

Gameflow is a bitch. Thankfully it's written in lua with the source available for editing in Fable 2.
