I'm going to re-do fable bare, so I wouldn't do this mod quite yet.

Actually, if you'd like, you can help me re-do fable bare, then you'll get credit for helping, and then I'll include my connected regions, so you won't need to even have the entrance/exit points anyway.

I personally think you should concentrate on Fable: The New World.

I think modding is fun, so i'll do this mod and add more to it. I may include some other peoples mod's like The Keshire Sickle (With peoples permission) as legendary weapons, one of the 3 legendary staffs by Marcopolo, the Staff Tanto Odachi's by ailia, etc.

(I will ask permission of them later, after i have decided what i will do.)

So i will go ahead with this one. But i will gladly help with Fable: Bare redone!

Hehe, thanks! Working on it as we speak.

Does anyone have any suggestions for legendary weapons? Or any extra items? I'm thinking about MoreRunes produce. Like the pepsi and stuff. I might put the adrenaline potions in too.

I can't really "play" Fable but i can mod it, if you can understand... Laughing

I can't make models, i never could, but i will tamper with legendary weapons in-game and change them around and also copy them to make new unique (cept' for the model) weapons.

Scratch that, if i find the time to save the documents to a USB and re-color them on my desktop, i'll gladly help. As of now, i'll only be working in FE or CBox if my laptop can load that.

Very Happy

I had a look through the items there and chose some that were suitable.

I may reconsider a few. But the problem is that a lot of them will make the game too easy. My job is to make the game better, not easier. It's no amazing challenge as it is either.

I think Adrenaline Potions are a great addition to the game. I'm working on a will trader in bowerstone quey who could sell them. Along with some staffs, will potions, etc.

This mod is getting better and better. The willstones are great, and some of their hiding places look stunning.

Adrenaline potions are okay, but I dislike that in mods that make them available, they are easily accessible with no drawback.
I say go ahead and add them, as they are pretty cool, but make it have a downside, like it will make you insanely drunk, or at least make them scarce, hard to get, legendary even. If you only have one in the game, you can make it faster and last longer, because there would only be one and you'd have to choose carefully where and when to use it.

Anyway, don't mind me, just spilling my thoughts.

Good point JohnDoe...

Hmm...

Maybe with every potion you use it takes away a chunk of your HP? So you sacrafice HP for speed... Hmm...

That actually might be possible, since the health modifier is a float (and floats can be negative, keep up will you?). You could make it so that the Hero loses 10 health every 3 seconds or so for 30 seconds IF using a negative float doesn't crash the game (that means you go try it, like now).

The other temporary things are fattiness, morality, agreeableness/scariness/attractiveness, the attack speed increase and for how long, whether or not it's alcoholic and how strong. Because the speed multiplier is a float as well, it may be possible to make the Hero slower as well.

You can also change will, max health, max will, day to night and vice versa, and the cool effect when it gets consumed.

Interesting!

I wonder where i can find the variable for this...

Edit: I found the variables, and i'm testing it now. It will take away 20 damage (As of now, to be increased/decreased as i see fit) and makes you drunk. Fun.

Whilst i'm here, does anyone know where the file for the credits video is? I can't find it in videos.

Credits are a cutscene I believe. If you are meaning to credit yourself, the text.big has all of the entries for the credits. Just edit those.

It would be easier to do if you found someone who has a copy of the decompiled text.big, it's an excel spreadsheet file Pe_Ell had posted somewhere, but it's gone now it seems.

I don't believe a negative health modifier works, just so you know

Yeah i figured it out for myself Razz

Instead i have given it a drunken effect and changed the description to something along the lines of "A speed boost in combat, but not long after you may start to feel yourself get dizzy... Alcohol Percentage: 37.5%"

Hehe Smile

Although i was thinking of making a "Super Potion". A mix of will potions and health potions healing both as once. Since a mix of red/pink and blue makes a purple potion, that would work.

I may even add some experience in there Wink

Cool, as long as it isn't purely an uber-steroid potion. Might want to consider scarcity or high cost as well. Each of these things plays a role in the balance, which Lionhead didn't seem to care too much for.

• I'd like to make the willstones thing into a bronze quest of it's own. Is this possible?

More to come.

Hmm... I like the blood armour, but i like it how it is anyway. So i'm not sure about that.

But that sword is great! It'll need a good rename. The Shadowblade or something since the blade is pure shadow...

You know it would be easy enough to export the sword of strength, make a new entry, and import the stuff into it and make an FMP on that Smile

It will look nicer too.

Edit:

Sorry guys, due to computer problems, Complete Freedom has been seriously set back. Due to a mod that screwed up my whole computer. Even though i backed up the files, it still doesn't work.

It shouldn't take long to recreate what was lost since i have made FMP's for a lot of the things.

Ok guys! Fable: Complete Freedom is back on track Smile Now that another project including me i have left due to endless problems, i am going to get this done Smile

A lot of things about this mod are going to be changed. My last job was sloppy, i am going to this as exact as i possibly can, and i will only move the transition points which are worth moving.

I will bring back some of the fences etc, and possibly the transition gates (I may replace them with something better.)

Also, after the success of the V2 Item pack by OldBoy, i will implement some of that stuff into the game too, Certainly the staff animations. Since they add a good finished feeling to the game.

ALL of my old files are lost, but this time i will make it better.

Thanks for waiting on me guys.

Oh, and for those who this may concern, this won't be a HUUUGEEEEEE mod. This is a package that will help you get the most out of your game, and add some cool stuff to it on the side!

I just got an idea:
gold in fable has always been kinda worthless so...
make gold worth something and make it so that you can buy extremely powerfull items so long as you have the cash to get them.
make gold rare to find on normal monsters and get a good chunk of it for defeating bosses.
change the prices of items (health potion 2 gold, magic potion 2 gold, armor 25g, super potions 10g, legendary weapons 100g.)
make all the merchants the same guy except hes a traveling salesman at the entrance to each city heck you could even make him say the smae things as the salesman in RE4 who keeps calling you "Stranger".

1. You will be able to buy out of this world weapons.
2. I won't change item prices that low Wink Anti inflation, eh? Very Happy
3. You only get about a maximum of 30 or so gold from a creature anyway. I won't change that.

can you create a wallet that only holds 5 pence?
(very small wallet)
also... just for laughs do a mod that puts in an armor suit that changes you skin-bone structure-and animations with a mech-warriors and make it an invisible bow with no animation that shoots explosive fireballs

sounds semi-possible but I'm %105 sure it'll never be made Razz

can you create a wallet that only holds 5 pence?
(very small wallet)
also... just for laughs do a mod that puts in an armor suit that changes you skin-bone structure-and animations with a mech-warriors and make it an invisible bow with no animation that shoots explosive fireballs

sounds semi-possible but I'm %105 sure it'll never be made Razz

I like the gold bag idea.

The mech warrior sounds funny, but a bit advanced for me XD
