Okay so first of all I am a VERY OLD FABLE TLC MODDER. But since i got a new computer and i have FE installed and FABLE i get this message when i open FE:

Unhandled exception has occured in a component in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue.

Cannot access a disposed object.
Object name: 'frmMain'.

Can someone please help because i had good MOD files ready to UPLOAD.

Thanks!!

Have you got vista?

I'm guessing at Yes.

Did you read this?

I'm guessing not Wink

frmMain can mean a lot of things, not necessarily Vista.
The Vista give away is Access Denied, which isn't mentioned. Wink

A lot of errors on a new computer are related to vista.

If they are unmodded, ore the files are in a different place, i can't see any other problems.

And yes I would so badly like to have uploaded my mod but this just happened when it came to the point of buying a new computer.

Actually guys I use Windows XP Pro, Service Pack 3.

FE is a very simple program.

It needs .NET Framework 2.0.
It needs DirectX 9.0c (comes with the game).
It needs for the game to be installed.
It needs for the registry to have the right information.
It needs for the files to be in the right place.
And that's all it needs, which really isn't a lot to ask for.
Now, of these things, where do you think there may be a problem?

See if it's a problem with one of the archives (FE loads them on startup automatically) or if it's FE itself.
Then try to find any details, any information at all, that could be remotely associated with the problem. Details are important, be as specific as possible.

Then you get the def.xml... Go to the Fable Explorer thread.

ShadowNet is stable. ShadowNet w/Sound is broken but can be used for sound extraction. I'd advise it only if you want to check out the sounds and don't have any other way to do it, or you're looking for a specific sound and don't want to spend a few minutes to get it.
