banhammer weapon? [message #50175]

i wanted to change the Avengers name to Ban Hammer but when i find it in fable explorer there is no section to change the name, is it possible or should i just make a new weapon for the game?

yes it is possible. on a normal day i would say search but, since im in a good mood today here it goes:

open OBJECT entry for weapon you want to change.
Find the CInventoryItem Def and open it
Go to 2nd entry or ITEM DESCRIPTION and open
Change name
Apply changes
Save mods and run fable

You're doing it wrong.

Go to the Avenger in OBJECT

Double click

Press the plus next to OBJECT in the new window.

Click CDefs

Go to CInventoryItemDef and click the top Blue link in the box

In the new window, click CInventoryItemDef

On the right, in the second box down, click the blue link.

Edit as you will.

Apply changes, close the window

Save mods and run fable.

Or if you are lazy, use the fmp i made.

At one time long, long ago I was considering making a series of weapons based on the forum staff, Pe_Ell's banhammer being one of them. I gave up when I realized that Fable couldn't harnesh the dense awesomeness of such a thing.

whenever i search for something i get totally irrelevant threads so i stopped doing it, also ty and i cant believe i didnt see the inventory link im such a blindy-blindy Shocked
