ok so I edited the heros eyes and made them purple Very Happy I also edited the skin, and made it paler, so I'm playing the game he looks great paler skin, purple eyes, and always has black hair (did that too)...

but now he's 28 and for some reason he looks like a DROW! for those unfamiliar with drow, they are dark elves, in the DnD world...for some reason his skin color looks like he is standing in the shadows at all times...

it's really dark tar like color....why? and more importantly how do i fix it Sad any help would be greatly appreciated

Changing the skin can lead to weirdness.
Texture morphing happens on several levels to make the Hero look the way he does in Fable. When changing one of the base textures, it changes how he looks on all levels of texture morphing involving that texture. So, my recommendation is to get used to it.

now it's getting even worst....how would I fix this? and more importantly how do I keep it from happening again? does anyone know what files interact to change the skin shade? I figured droping the base skin color would only make him paler...not do this...by the way that's his chest showing this is the BANDIT outfit, and it shows his bare chest...

You might try using only one skin type. Go into the CHeroMorphDef and delete all the tan and anti-tan skin values. Or all the light and tan or light and anti-tan. Just leave one, I did that and then made the skin darker and have not had any trouble, maybe the alignment morphing causes the problem.

for those of you, who tried to edit the skin, and it did this mud thing, and dont' wish to use tattoos, so you can see the cool magick tattoos, the way I fixed it was I uninstalled fable but didnt delete my saved games...

i reinstalled fable, then I had to redo my spell mod, and my hair and eye mod...

then it worked Very Happy with out tattoos skin texture is back to normal.

I tried to reinstall the original textures, but it was still mudd looking...

hope this helps so future modders don't have this issue...
