This is my first weapon mod, I took an existing sword, and created an entirely new one. It's an undead sword, hence the name; 'Sword of the Dead', but it isn't, it only looks like one. Anyways here it is;



EDIT: There, I think I fixed it, if there's ANY problems, report them to me, not through PM because I'll just delete them. Report them in this thread, since I'm an active member, and I usually check up on my threads/posts.

What have you changed?I haven't found any new weapondef or text in FE,and the texture looks the same as normal..

I changed the damage, made it one handed, the name, I just need to figure out the texture ID so I can do a re-texture as well, but I haven't found it yet. Also, I could have packed it wrong, I used FE to pack it after all.

I think the texture is MESH_UNDEAD_SWORD_LIEUTENANT_01,that on my FE is numbered 8030.
Edit:Nope. Laughing
I'm gone completely crazy.Sorry.

Re-Edit:Found it.This time for real.In my FE is numbered 4075.

I was working on other things at the moment,but i'll get a good look.When i installed it i noticed that all the CDef entries were linking to random things,so there's probably an error of packing.
Have you packed in the .fmp all files or only the OBJECT entry?

Im not sure what you mean... im kidda new to modding.

I Used FE to add the Weapon and then i saved it then loaded the game.

I wasn't talking to you.When you create a weapon .fmp like this,there are many entries to pack together with the entry itself.I was wondering if this doesn't work either to me and you because some of those entries are missing in the mod,and i was asking to Dark Ness to check that. Confused

I probably did mess up packing it, I am new to packing after all. I'll re-pack it, I just have to learn how to pack correctly. Because I only packed the weapon entry, that's probably where I messed up at.
