Hi I use vista and the fable explorer isn't working. If i try to open it immidiate sais: FableExplorer.exe werkt niet meer. (fableexplorer.exe doesn't work anymore in Dutch) I have installed Fable TLC in C:\program Files\fable\ and have deactivated UAC. I am also the only administrator. Can someone help me?

The default place is C:\Program File\Microsoft Games\Fable The Lost Chapters

Is that the directory, or C:\program Files\fable?

Furthermore, do you have the required def.xml? It seems to be the latest trend for people to download one version of FE or the other and always neglect to grab the def.xml.

Good point. I think it is people neglecting to read the post, rather than just not downloading it. Which is why I asked straight away about the .NET Framework.

Thing with that is he'd either get a 0x8007007E (.Net Framework too old) or 0xC0000135 (no .Net Framework).

I'm going to note these error codes down, so I'm not blindly guessing.

I did get the Def.xml file that came with FE and placed it in the FE folder. Should it be placed elsewhere?
