please make the guildwars crystalline sword,
and also can you please it it transperent like it is in the game.
it is possible by putting a opacity mask texture.

i think this will be a good addition to our modsindex.php?t=getfile&id=8510&private=0


only mods at christmas, easter and summer holiday when i am in hong kong.
the rest i study in england and my mum won't let me bring my laptop.

It kind of looks like a distorted cutlass or broadsword. Might be the way to go for the mesh edit, and after that it's just a texture change, and we have plenty of "crystalline" textures that could be used as a base. There's a black ice one somewhere, forget what it's called. There's also the fresco crystal texture, that one might be good.

Black Ice is the name, there is also one named Ice Cliff, and one named Ice Cliff Smooth I think. You will find them in the texture list.

i just don't really like the cutlass in fable,
i especially like the shape of this weapon and the texture as well.
i think it would look really good in fable, possibly better than in guildwars.
the good thing is that it wouldn't be out of place at all.

i think the diamond texture and opacity mask would fit well with the weapon, since the diamond texture is very simiar to the texture on the blade, just it is not blue enough.
then again, i am not really a pro at texture stuff so.. yeah

You read my guide. Good, I'm flattered, but I should tell you that the diamond doesn't have an opacity mask. The septimal key uses similar textures and makes use of an opacity mask, if that's what you're thinking of. Otherwise, you're thinking of the specular map.

Well I'll have to differ with you there. Probably would be best to make a new texture and use either the ice or black ice texture as a base. The diamond texture wouldn't look right without a lot of work mapping the UV coordinates, because the diamond texture doesn't fill the whole texture left to right, top to bottom, like the other textures do.

I might do this one when I get a moment.

thanks, and the diamond texture would make the hilt transperant as well.
