I have been reading tutorials for a while and finally I new what I was doing... or so I thought.

I tried spawning a chest in Lookout Point. Good news is the chest spawned. Bad news is its empty

What I did:

1)
Downloaded Fable Explorer

2) Downloaded this mod: http://fabletlcmod.com/forum/index.php?t=msg&th=6433& ;amp ;start=0&

3) Exported LookoutPoint.tng

4) Changed Lookoutpoint.tng to the one from the mod

5)
Imported LookoutPoint.tng

6) Actions > Save Mods and Run Fable

7)
The chest was at the top of the hill, but it froze when I opened it.

I hope someone can help. Fable modding is harder than I thought. Borderlands was way easier to mod.

Your ChestContents lines are wrong. The syntax is right, else the game would have just crashed, but you likely mistyped the name of the OBJECTs.

They shouldn't be wrong as I copied them right from the mod. This is what they say:

Then perhaps you could help me. I don't know what I did wrong. I have no experience with this. It is your mod, you must know how to make it work.

Load the FMP with FableExplorer, File|Load Fable Mod Package.
When it is done, click Actions|Save Mods and Run Fable.
Then go to the chest. That easy.

I just realized that.

But when I tried to do that I got an error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

mmm well... for all the others fmps that include tng map (chest) files i have done the next proces...

•Well first than all i have used the freeroam...

•Second Make a Backup of the file to replace (in your case "LookoutPoint.tng" ) that file is in this location by deffect: C:\Archivos de programa\Microsoft Games\Fable - The Lost Chapters\data\Levels\FinalAlbion

•Third paste the Tng mod file in the same folder, and say YES when ask if replace file...

•Fourth install the fmp with Fable explorer like ever do... (follow it like JohnDoe says)

...It EVER works for me... try it men, dont complicate ur life extracting files... use the Freeroam and follow my spteeps... sure it will work

If it doesn't work I have a teory, it happened to me too. Try to cut the items to five and see what happens.

That's only if the mod is bad. It's my mod, it isn't bad.
