I have restarted this mod, including the ground textures, the ground textures download below, is the older one - Which is practically as good as the newer one.

Anyways I'll be working on this when I have the time, which is little.. So don't expect this to be finished soon.

Click

Not like this hasn't been done before...Anyway I got bored.
I think they look better than the average white retextures,
but thats just me. [Note I found these textures within the Textures.big files. And coloured them a little bit.]

Note; I class Enviroment as Bridges/Doors/Buildings/NPCs clothing/etc

Opinions, comments, whatever please.

Quote:

Okay, This is an unfinished version. Its in .fmp file format so [As I understand there may be some complications when applying the mod]

As far as I can remember the file is Approx; 31MB.
As you can see the file has been compressed to .zipx format
There may/may not be trouble extracting it. I don't know.
Now the file size [As seen below is 2.95MB]

As JohnDoe Kindly Explained below:

JohnDoe

That's just Corel trying to squeeze more money out of Winzip.
Those algorithms can be unpacked in 7-Zip and WinRAR. In fact, LZMA is native to 7-Zip, which is free.

[Update(s)]

Snowing Textures Unfinished.zipx Removed at 19 Downloads.

Added Environment Snowing Which should add snowing effects to all, if not most of the area's in the game (Barring caves, Prison interior, etc.)

Edited almost all of the ground textures.

[Note(s)]

The work can be completed by anyone, whose interested enough, However I may finish it my self, When I get to a computer with Fable and Internet access on it.

Remember to; Make back ups, Just in case you either want to revert back to normal or you do not like this work, If such a event happens, no one, on this site will be providing back ups of any kind.

If this mod fails to change anything, please inform me, either here or by Pm.

Progress!

Environment [Ground] Done - Available for download.
Environment [Doors, Walls] Started - Slow progress]
Environment [Bridges, Jetty] Started - Slow progress]
Environment [Rocks, Grass] Started - Slowest progress]
Environment [Others] To be started

NPC [Clothing] To be started]

Npc [Other] To be found/started]

Hero [Weapons] Restarted - Average progress]

I like it. They're subtle yet more... realistic I guess I should say. Razz

Read the site rules, as well as individual thread rules, stickies and announcements, and use search, or you will have smartassy or exasperated ownage rained down upon you by the site's crack team of mods and admins. Also, you can find all you need to get started on modding here.

Thanks, I think.

I'll post the textures I used / a .big file with the maps in soon.

[ I did all of them ... Well I did get bored.Smile ]

Note: I'll start doing a bridge, doors, walls and building retextures. Soonish -

I'm Multi booting my computer tomorrow with any luck.

Edit: Not done yet but this is a start... I'd be able to do better if cbox opened up again.

Nice. Do you intend to make albion in it's entirety snowy?

Edit/Note/Whatever: I'll probably even go as far as to make the whole of albion
snowy [As I have stated] I'll probably get somesort of snow gear wear for Villager NPC's and wandering traders... The heroes might be a little bit harder.

That's my objective, but making it more realistic.

Also Snow won't be on Burnt grounds [Scorched Earth textures] Just because It didn't look right.

Note: I'm starting again tomorrow. Anyway, for now im working on a texture for bridges, buildings and grounds. [The texture on the ground can be improved] I might try making the water "Frosty looking".

Yay, More Pictures

Almost done all of the ground textures (Ive been off and on, on this thanks to Cbox crashing multiple times (and sometimes not opening))

As for the clothings...If anyone wants to do a texture (for villagers) (icey/snowy) looking then Do so, If you wish.

Unless it was something I did in the textures,

Yea, it's also against the rules to post entire archives, as the vast majority of it is unedited. So, unless you edited all 6290 original textures, I'm removing your link.

Due to recent events, I will be continuing my work, from a few months ago. Even though, the progress will be painfully slow.

By the way; Does the bridge (at the sides) look Icy/snowy or do they need improving. Be critical, I don't mind at all.

I think the orange on the apprentice suit should be ditched for a bright blue, and as for the plate armor, it looks too bland. Brighten the whites on your primary coloring, and use a bright blue for secondary. Smile

I quite liked the orange on the apprentice suit.

In the meantime, I'll see what I can do about the plate, Along with other items of clothing.

Edit:

By the way, can someone redirect me to a ''All clothing and items'' mod.

Thanks in advance.

Okay, the bright still looks a bit off, darken your primary color a bit. The dark looks pretty good, in the way that it completes your goal of making it look icy. Overall though, good work. :3

Thanks, I'll get back to them later.

Anyways, Here's the re-textures I did on the Cleavers, Weapon re-textures have never been a strong point for me, in any game.

Haha, Thanks again Smile . Here's my Katana's re-textures attempt.

They're similar to the Cleaver's re-textures.

I'll be doing the Great swords, Long swords (That's their name, right? I have no idea) Bows & The Quiver (again) along with most of the other weapons e.g. Legendary. No particular order for now.
