Ok so i've made a lot of changes to my game files and i have a backup version that works fine, but in the modified version, none of my characters have a Mana bar, cant use spells unless macroed to the hotbar, and curiously: cant interact with doors or beds...

would anyone know how to fix this, or why it happened in the first place?

Sounds like you've done something to screw with the gameflow. Tell us about the modifications and we'll go from there.

well ive added to my inventory and changed, certain weapons. ive edited the CHeroMorphDef to delete all the old age effects (it didnt work) i also changed the code in FinalAlbion.wld to merge some regions but it didnt work so i replaced the file from my backups. and then i added you TNG editors kit and thats about it... but the mana bar dissapeared roughly the time i edited the CHeroMorphDef so i think its that...

i also changed the code in FinalAlbion.wld
Mmmhmm. You screwed up the WLD. Either that or I did in my consolidated WLD. Open it up and make sure it has the following at the very top.

START_INITIAL_QUESTS;
Q_SunnyvaleMaster;
PersonalScriptMain;
PersonalScript_GlobalThings;
HeroBoasts;
V_HeroDolls;
CS_PlayCutscene;
END_INITIAL_QUESTS;

MapUIDCount 72;
ThingManagerUIDCount 1;

That's quite strange then, it's definitely something related to levels or quests. Try the user.ini. Make sure there's a ActivateQuest("Gameflow"); line in there. If it has a // before it, get rid of that. Can't say if that will work though. I remember having the exact problem before, it was when I was experimenting with quests and levels. I removed everything and killed off as much as I could and still have the game run, and the problems were exactly as you described... well not this part:

Remember that the Hero doesn't start with a mana bar in legitimate gameplay. Also know that increasing health or mana levels improperly will have a result of the sort, except the bar's not actually gone, it's just really really small.

It depends on how you caused it. Since you don't know how you caused it, you can't really know how to fix it.

Yea, it'd work just as well as reinstalling. Though some edits to certain things require new saves, so depending on what you did and when and how far you've progressed since, you may need to start a new game.

Replacing the game.bin should be fine
[It works just as well as reinstalling, from first hand experience]
It depends on how far you've progressed with the mod your trying to do.

Some of the edits you have done May require a new game being started.
