I just got out of the arena, and had enough money, so I decided to get the solus greatsword. But then I remembered, it doesn't really look good with ANYTHING. Since I'm focusing on my pure evil spellcasting warrior skill hog pwnsauce character, I decided to make it match the Dark Plate Armor. I loaded the texture for the solus greatsword in gimp, used colorify to darken it all down, then filled in inscriptions and studs with red. and this is the result.

Read the site rules, as well as individual thread rules, stickies and announcements, and use search, or you will have smartassy or exasperated ownage rained down upon you by the site's crack team of mods and admins. Also, you can find all you need to get started on modding here.

MS paint kinda sucks though. I myself like gimp because you can set the brush's opacity to 50% and then when you make a brush stroke it leaves behind the basic details. Plus if you click Colors and then Colorify, you can make the entire image different shades of the same color, and it doesn't leave a glossy look on the object like the lower opacity brush. Very Happy
