starting to have problems with albion explorer it keeps freezing when starting up
...initializing
...checking
then freezes

Modding environment not set up right and AE is going into a brainfart.

These are questions, do not act on these questions for fear you may turn a small problem into a big one and no one will want to help you.

Are you on Vista or Windows 7?
Is the game properly installed?
Do you have .NET Framework 2.0 SP1 and related updates?
Do you have MSVC++ 2005 SP1 and related updates?
Did you do anything the change the registry data (either manually or with a tool)?
Did you move the Fable files after install?
Did you change the AlbionExplorer.ini, specifically anything to do with the file path or registry?
Did you use FableExplorer to make a modification to the FinalAlbion.wad?
Did you use FreeRoam?
Did you use FreeRoam properly (dump in data folder)?
Did you change the userst.ini to set UseLevelWAD to FALSE?
Did you make any edits either manually or with a tool to any of the files in the Levels folder?
