I'm new here (First post actually) and I need help, I really want to try Fable Explorer Beta 4.1, but it's just not working. When I try to open it, it just show the picture of the heroes (the one that looks like the kid gets older and older) and then an error sound. I have the said requirements:
- .NET Framework Version 2.0
- DirectX Version 9.0c

Please I don't know what to do! Many thanks to those who help, may God smile on you! Smile

Have you installed the runtimes from here? They're written as MSVC++ etc.

I'd recommend installing both the 2005 SP1 and 2008 versions as we have tools that require both.

There's an error popping up behind the splash image. Press the space bar once or twice and it'll show up. My first guess will be Vista issue but it could also be some form of user error (trying to open FableExplorer while running the game has been a popular one) or prerequisites, various other things.

Let's see what the error is and we'll go from there.

It says : Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore this and attemp to continue.

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

And yes i already have MSVC++

Any Help will be much appreciated! Smile

what i did was:
(went on dads laptop and downloaded the FE then it actully WORKED with no problem D= i guess its my pc thats the problem ...)
