Try running the program in compatibility mode for Windows XP Service Pack 2 or 3.

I had the same problem a few years ago, but I just looked at the tutorials, most of the problems that can be experienced for this game are solved there. It couldn't hurt to look. Wink

So you've tried several mods, all do the same thing?

Do you have an example of this cos I haven't got a clue what you're on about.

A file ??? If you're trying to load from an .iso without installing i'm not going to be impressed.

In this case it's completely pointless. Fable Explorer runs perfectly on Windows 7 providing the Vista/7 guide has been read.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Come back when you've bought the game. See rule 3.

I would have done the same had I had the permissions to do so. Good riddance.

Indeed. Using an .iso made from your own discs is one thing (I personally created an .iso of the 4 discs combined into a single disc in order to speed up install) but openly admitting "a friend" gave you a copy and then expecting help with it is monumentally stupid.
