So since I've just came across with this "cool" i could say forum, I've decided not only to stay but to introduce myself (what an honor to you Surprised).
So I am new to the whole fable tlc mod scene and all I wanted was a good forum to start. Recently I have started playing Fable TLC (The game rocks I have to say) but when I finished it (well I have about 20 saves on my pc right now). I got bored of this game just as it is. So I've decided to start a new adventure but with some custom mods that I hope to find here so I'll have a unique (or I hope so) Fable experience.

Questions/answers:

Q: Fable TLC is an old game. Why don't you start playing fable 2 or 3?
A: Yes Fable TLC is an old game indeed. But its my favorite, it has plenty of armors (from cloth to plate) and a nice plot. So I prefer Fable TLC to 2 or 3 for this reason. Besides I don't have an xbox(360) to play fable 2. As I've played fable 3 I was kinda bored but astonished with its graphics. Still I'll stick to fable tlc.

Q: Are you familiar with fable modding?
A: As I've told you, the answer is NO. I didn't even know if there ways to mod fable TLC.

Q: So how will you start modding if you don't even know a think?
A: The answer is SEARCHING. I will search for everything that will be useful to me. I hate people who always ask without thinking or searching. And I am not as those guys. To ask something means that I didn't understand it 100%.

P.S: As long as I figure out how to mod my game and/or make my custom mods, I will be active on forums.

Sin cera, Nexus.

I wish I thought of this introduction idea. I'm sure that if I did, I'd get less posts making retorts at my comments.

Still, welcome to the forum. As long as you search, the moderators/administrators WILL respect you. If you want to learn how to mod, there is a tutorials section, and includes directions on how to get other people's mods in-game.

I can modify the game's bin files successfully, but can't create new models or textures. I will eventually learn to do so.

If you need help, I'm sure you know you will ask in the appropriate manner, according to your introduction. The forums aren't as active as a couple years ago, but moderators and administrators and other users still create mods and help out one another.

I am relatively new to the community, but I've known and explored this site since around 2008 to 2009. Again, welcome to the forum.

First of all I would like to thank you for your warm welcome. Moreover I've already figured out how to mod fable, if I keep using fable explorer for a couple of days I am sure that I will become familiar with it. Again thank you for your warm welcoming...

Not only will I stick here but also, soon I will start releasing mods. I badly fallen in love with this forum and I've met a new fable tlc experience.

To be honest, I still need more experience to achieve an advanced modding level (re-texturing, scripting etc..) I can only make simple mods like this. But thats my first mod so I have a long way ahead of me till I start not only to re-texture or script but also to become a professional moder. Hopefully I have to say that with those tutorials here I have made a PERFECT start.

To be honest, I can replace textures, create new entries, and the like, but I do not know how, and never tried, to make the hero look like a different kind of NPC. Razz

You can follow up this guide. If you mean this then its pretty simple and not complicated at all..

Heh, you are right, it isn't hard at all, though I never wanted to be a different NPC to begin with. Model swaps are all there is to it, so I don't see why I thought I didn't know how to do it other than the fact that I didn't care to try. Laughing
