In FE, open the weapon and find it's SHOT entry, change that. You can look in the list at "SHOT" for all the available projectiles.

Try going to SHOT in the main list and getting the number for the fireball and inputting it manually.

I just tried the one that says Fireball and Fireball1 and they worked, although the first one had no effects. Are you entering the number in front of the shot name in the list? Fireball-7217/Fireball1=7218/

CWeaponDef. There are two labeled variables tied together, one is shot reload speed and the other is... I have no idea. The thing to remember here is that lower numbers are faster. I once changed the two numbers to 10, and the Hero took his sweet time about doing things so I'm guessing it's in seconds.

This will only apply if reloading is required. This variable is also set in CWeaponDef. If you disable reloading (set to 0), you can rapid-fire by just clicking, but the arrows will do no damage (will bounce off) unless it explodes on contact.

What is it that you don't know? Are you unsure which box determines the speed? Or is it that you don't understand that lower numbers equal faster speed? Well the values indicate how many seconds it takes to fully reload, or ready an arrow. I don't remember off the top of my head what box determines this, especially since I didn't bother with this value for a long while.

Look in the CWeaponDef for the bow/crossbow/pumpcrossbow and try to figure out which value determines its speed. It's usually a number as low as 1 to a little less than 10 depending on the weapon.
