so ive been trying to use fable explorer for awhile now and am haveing a hard time. I know my copy of the game works without a hitch but would having downloaded it from steam affect my ability to mod it? cause every time i try to start up fable explorer it crashes.

Fable Explorer can crash for a variety of reasons. Can you screenshot the error you get and tell us exactly what happens?

Print screen, paste into paint. Upload to imgur or as an attachment here. Either works for me.

Honestly though, if you can't work out something that simple, maybe modding isn't for you. But hey, knock yourself out.

ok so i moved the folders from the steam folder to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Fable- The Lost Chapters but the issue is that the thread talks about the config.XML and i look through that and i cant find anything called useregistry so im stuck and would appreciate help.
Edit: by steam folder i actually mean (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\fable the lost chapters)

You can only find that useregistry line if it's Shadownet FE. Normal FE doesn't have it.
