This is something I've been thinking about for a while so I decided to test it today. I made a flat mesh and made it a weapon and now I can use any picture I want and make the background transparent and use it as a weapon in-game. This is an easy alternative for those who can't make graphics. I'll attach an fmp so other people can try their own. I will probably be making a lot of Adventure Quest Worlds swords since they have a bunch of awesome 2d weapons. Here is where you can go to get some 2d weapon pictures. I did this one. It's the blade of awe.

Good idea. I just made it. Part of it cut off because of the texture coords. Don't expect any of my work to be perfect.
Spawn as OBJECT_SWORD_MC_DIAMOND

Yeah. I fully understood everything you said so I couldn't even tell English wasn't your first language.
And sorry if you wanted the model. I'll probably do some minecraft stuff later. The only reason why I don't do minecraft stuff is because Fable messes up the textures so it doesn't even look like minecraft. It sort of blurs it. Not as pixely as I would like.
Random fact vv
Steve's head from minecraft was the first working "skinweight" I made.

Double post! I believe this one was actually necessary
nicomon wrote on Sat, 17 August 2013 01:09 | That's awesome(I cringe at the unintentional pun), and hilarious. Someone should make an 8-bit sword that's flat.

Well the texture coordinates were small I don't feel like redoing them and I barely know how they work so yeah lol
And I'm sure the 8-bit sword wouldn't work since Fable blurs the textures. Here's the texture I used for the blade of awe:
